Hope Warshaw, MMSc, RD, CDE

Hope Warshaw, MMSc, RD, CDE, is a dietitian and diabetes educator who applies nearly thirty-five years of expertise in diabetes care in her varied work as an author and freelance writer, media spokesperson, consultant, diabetes educator and certified pump trainer. Hope is known for her expertise in diabetes nutrition management, weight management and healthy restaurant eating. A key goal of her practice, regardless of the setting, is to offer people research-based practical solutions for healthy eating.
 
Hope has written numerous books for the American Diabetes Association, including Guide to Healthy Restaurant Eating and Diabetes Meal Planning Made Easy. She's the contributing editor and a freelance writer for Diabetic Living magazine and website. She recently began writing a monthly Nutrition Q&A column for the Washington Post. Hope has jumped into the social networking world where she engages with her dietitian and diabetes educator colleagues as well as many members of the Diabetes Online Community.
