October 3, 2010 - Walk to Cure Diabetes North Haven, CT at Quinnipiac University at 8:30am a 3 Mile walk.
October 4-6, 2010 - World Stem Cell Summit at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan.
October 9, 2010 - Walk to Cure Diabetes Military Park – Indianapolis at 9:00am a 2-mile fun walk or 5k walk/run.
October 10, 2010 - Nebraska Step Out Omaha, NE.
October 12, 2010 - Fifth Annual Transational Stem Cell Research Conference from 1:15 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rockefeller University, Caspary Auditorium 1230 York Avenue at 66th Street New York, NY 10023.

October 16, 2010 - Annual Auction Join us for the annual auction hosted by Clara Barton Camp and Camp Joslin* alumni will feature live and silent auction items, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, dancing, and cash bar. October 20, 2010 - Diabetes and Obesity Lunch and Learn Program at Jack Allen’s Kitchen; 7720 Highway 71 West; Austin, TX 78735 (512.852.8558). Jack Allen’s Kitchen weaves a luscious but homespun fabric of locally sourced, fresh ingredients, combined in both new and old favorite dishes. This event will take place every 3rd Wednesday for the next 3 months from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please RSVP by October 14.
