October 6th 2007 - TCOYD - Taking Control Of Your Diabetes Conference at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, AR. Taking Control Of Your Diabetes, 501(c)3, (TCOYD), a nationally recognized not-for-profit diabetes educational organization, invites people with diabetes, as well as those at risk for diabetes and their loved ones, to a full day of seminars, workshops and one-on-one opportunities with leading experts in diabetes care to conferences across the country in 2007. TCOYD's Mission is to educate and motivate people with diabetes and their loved ones, to take a more active role in their condition, in order to live healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
October 6th 2007 - Step Out to Fight Diabetes at Guadalupe River Park & Gardens, downtown San Jose, CA. Step Out to Fight Diabetes is the fund-raising walk of the American Diabetes Association. This is an occasion for the whole family and peopleStep Out to Fight Diabetes of various fitness levels. It will feature three exciting components such as a fund-raising walk/run with three distances, 1.5-mile walk, 5K walk, and 10K run. There will be a free breakfast for all participants, live music, free lunch, a long sleeve T-shirt for participants raising a minimum of $100, dancing, a kids’ play zone, and a healthy living fair.

October 21st 2997 - 10th Annual Rip’s Bikers Against Diabetes (BAD) Ride: Rip's B.A.D Ride-Bikers Against Diabetes-is a motorcycle fund-raising ride and family festival of the American Diabetes Association. This event unites the biker nation in the fight against diabetes with a full day of great riding, big entertainment, delicious food, lots of activities and a good vibe! This event will be held in Arizona.
