January 4th 2006 - Insulin Pump Information Night: This class provides an introduction to insulin pump therapy, including hands-on, button pushing. First, you'll learn about the numerous benefits of insulin pump therapy and the potential impact it can have on the quality of your life. Held at Concord CA's Center for Diabetes, Mt. January 4th -18th 2006 - Dining With Diabetes is a three-part series designed to help you control your diabetes. Each session includes tips for managing diabetes, cooking demonstrations, and taste testing of healthy recipes. Pre-registration is required by Dec. 21, 2005. January 7th 2006 - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations Journey to a Cure Gala. The sounds, sights and smells of Italy will fill the air in the grand ballroom at the Adams Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo, NY as guests had the opportunity to bid on more than 170 silent auction items.
