April 3, 2010 - P.A.C.E.D. (Prevention Awareness and Community Education for Diabetes) is proud to present our 2nd Annual Living With Diabetes Expo in Redding, CA. 10am-5pm @ the Atrium of the Downtown Redding Promenade (formerly Downtown Redding Mall) corner of Market Street and Placer Road. April 5, 2010 - The Joslin Diabetes Center will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI) with an evening of food tasting and fundraising at the Museum of Fine Arts. Participating chefs include Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger, Jasper White of Summer Shack and Joanne Chang of Flour Bakery and Myers + Chang, and others from over 20 restaurants. Location: The Museum of Fine Arts 465 Huntington Avenue, Boston MA. Cost: A Spoonful of Ginger tickets: $250 each & the Special “Art Lover” Tour Tickets: $500 each (includes ticket to Ginger and special MFA Curator Tour) **All proceeds benefit Joslin’s AADI.
