OLearys Clover Farm Diabetes Family Weekend at Rocky Gap Resort
The Diabetes Family Weekend at Rocky Gap Resort is a weekend for children ages 3-12 with diabetes and their families. Because managing diabetes often requires a change in lifestyle, family support is needed. Many activities of daily living must be considered, including the food we eat, necessary medication, and activity levels. Setebaid Services, in cooperation with OLearys Clover Farm, hosts this weekend to serve the families and children living with diabetes. The primary purpose of the weekend is to establish a network of support and assist families to cope with the daily struggles of living with diabetes. Rocky Gap Resort is located off Maryland I-68 (Exit #50) and is approximately two hours from Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Pittsburgh, PA. The resort is the only Jack Nicklaus signature golf resort in Maryland.
