March 29, 2009 - Passover Prep School a workshop for adults on Managing the Passover Holiday with Diabetes with the American Diabetes Association will be offered as part of the Passover Prep School-An Interactive Family Festival at the Kellman Brown Academy, 1007 Laurel Oak Roard, Voorhees, NJ 08043. Passover Prep School will run from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. and admission cost is $7 per person. The event supports the work of the Department of Jewish Education of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey.
March 30, 2009 - Joslin Diabetes Center is hosting the 5th annual “A Spoonful of Ginger” food tasting from 6:00- 9:00 pm. The event brings together many of Boston’s finest chefs including Joanne Chang, Lydia Shire and Jasper White – in support of Joslin’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative. Location is The State Room Atop 60 State St., Boston MA. Cost: $200 per person. (All proceeds benefit Joslin’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative).
