January 11, 2012 – CULINARY THERAPY EVENT
Hosted by the Adult Diabetes Support Group and the Community Church of Cedar Grove.
Verona's Chef Cardie Mortimer, who has a background in comedy, will base his program around making high fiber, low carbohydrate meals. Those present will be able to watch Mortimer and his team prepare the meal and receive taste samples and recipes.
7:00pm at the Community Church, 65 Bowden Road, Cedar Grove, NJ.

January 29, 2012 – Join Insulindependence Club Captain Erin Clark for a phenomenal exercise class at the local Diabetes Care Center! Trained Group Exercise Leader Sharyn Emery will lead the class, and participants of all athletic abilities will be accommodated. January 29, 2012 – The 7th Annual CityFeast is fun-filled evening hosted by five of the most exclusive restaurants in Boston’s North End: Antico Forno, Terramia, Lucca, Taranta and Tresca.  Tickets include a five-course dinner with wine pairings at the choice participating restaurant, and proceeds will benefit Joslin’s High Hopes Fund, which provides support for research, clinical care and education for diabetics and their families. Tickets are priced at $150 each; of which $100 is tax deductible. Due to high demand, reservations are limited, and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
