1 each  fresh artichokes
1 each  medium garlic cloves
1 each  bay leaves
0 1/4 tsp  coriander seeds
0 1/2 tsp  ground oregano
0 1/2 tsp  dried basil
  1. Put the garlic slices in the leaves of the artichoke and place in a saucepan. Fill with enough water to cover half of the artichokes. Add the bay leaf.
  2. Place the coriander seeds, oregano, and basil in a bowl and crush. Sprinkle the mixture over the artichoke.
  3. Cook for about 30 minutes over medium heat.
