1 each  package baker's yeast
2 tbsp  sugar
1 cup  cold water
1 cup  white all purpose flour
1 cup  whole wheat flour
0.3333 cup  Milk, nonfat/skim, dry
2 tsp  ground ginger
1 tsp  ground cinnamon
2 tsp  light molasses
0 1/4 tsp  ground cloves
3 tbsp  vegetable oil
1 each  eggs
4 each  egg whites
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Combine yeast, sugar and water in a large mixing bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Add both flours, dry milk, ginger, cinnamon, light molasses, cloves, oil, egg, and egg whites.
  3. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
  4. Cover and chill 8 hours.
  5. Coat an 8-inch square waffle iron with vegetable cooking spray; allow to preheat as directed by the manufacturer.
  6. Stir batter; spoon 1/4 cup batter per waffle onto hot waffle iron.
  7. Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops. Repeat procedure using remaining batter.
