0 1/2 lb  fresh carrots
0 1/2 lb  medium zucchini
1 tbsp  Butter, unsalted
2 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
1 pinch  salt and pepper
1 tbsp  poppy seeds
  1. Fill a kettle with 1-inch of water and bring to a boil. Put the carrots in a steamer basket, set over the water, and steam, covered, for about 3 minutes. Transfer into a bowl.
  2. Put the zucchini in the steamer basket, place over the water, and steam, covered, for about 1 minute. Combine with the carrots.
  3. Heat the butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Pour over the carrots and zucchini. Sprinkle the poppy seeds on top and toss to mix.
