1 cup  long grain brown rice
2 cup  cold water
1 tsp  chicken bouillon
2 tbsp  slivered almonds
1 each  fresh lemons
  1. Place the rice and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then remove from heat. Cover and let sit for about 6 hours.
  2. Add the bouillon to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes. Drain, if needed.
  3. Grate 2 tablespoons of lemon zest.
  4. Add almonds and lemon zest to rice. Let sit for 2-3 minutes, fluff.
