Ingredients

2 lb  kale, chopped
1 tsp  extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup  fresh chopped red onion
1 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
3 tbsp  cold water
2 tsp  fresh lemon juice
0 1/2 oz  bacon bits
Directions
  1. In large stockpot, heat oil over medium. Add onions and cook 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook additional 2 minutes.
  2. Add kale, pepper, and water.
  3. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes over medium heat, turning occassionally.
  4. Add lemon juice and bacon bits. Stir well. Serve.
