1 each  whole chicken, raw
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
0 1/4 tsp  garlic powder
0 1/4 tsp  dried rosemary
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place a large piece of heavy-duty foil in a shallow baking pan. Place chicken on top.
  3. Combine seasonings and sprinkle over chicken. Wrap foil tightly to seal. Bake 60 minutes; reduce heat and cook 20 to 30 minutes or until thigh registers 170 degrees F. Discard skin before serving.
