24 each  Dates, medjool, with o pit
2 pinch  green food coloring
6 oz  almond paste
2 tsp  powdered sugar
  1. Slice dates lengthwise, but not all the way through to the other end. Take out seeds.
  2. Knead food coloring into the almond paste or marzipan if using. Stuff the almond paste or marzipan into dates; dust each with powdered sugar.
