2 lb  whole salmon
1 pinch  salt and pepper
1 each  medium lemons
1 each  medium onions
6 piece  raw bacon slices
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Rinse and dry salmon. Measure around widest part of girth.
  3. Line 9" x 13" baking pan with enough aluminum foil to wrap around whole fish. Place cleaned salmon in pan.
  4. Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper, inside and out.
  5. Place 3 bacon slices lengthwise inside salmon. Stuff with lemon and onion slices. Place remaining bacon on top.
  6. Seal foil to wrap salmon.
  7. Bake 10 minutes per inch of girth. Salmon is done when opaque all the way through.
  8. Discard bacon, lemon, and onion. Serve.
