3 cup  white all purpose flour
1 tsp  salt
2 each  package baker's yeast
1 tbsp  sugar
2 tbsp  Shortening, vegetable
1 tsp  dried rosemary
  1. In mixer bowl, combine 2 cups of the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Add 11/4 cups very warm water (120-130 degrees F) shortening, and rosemary.
  2. Beat on medium speed about 2 minutes, scraping bowl frequently. By hand, stir in remaining 1 cup flour until batter is smooth.
  3. Spoon into a sprayed 9x5-inch loaf pan. Cover and let rise until double, about 45 to 60 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped. Remove and cool on rack.
