0 3/4 cup  white all purpose flour
5 tbsp  sugar
1 tsp  double acting baking powder
0 1/4 tsp  salt
3 tbsp  margarine
3 tbsp  fat free milk
1 1/2 cup  canned sweet cherries, drained
1 1/2 cup  fresh blueberries
1 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp  fresh lemon peel
0 1/4 tsp  ground cinnamon
  1. Mix flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in margarine to form coarse crumbs. Add in milk to form a soft dough. Reserve.
  2. Mix cherries and blueberries with 3 tablespoons sugar, lemon juice, lemon rind, and cinnamon in a large pot. Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Spoon rounded tablespoons of dough onto berry mixture and cook 10 minutes. Place lid on pot and cook 10 more minutes. Serve warm.
