3 each  egg whites
0 1/2 tsp  cream of tartar
0 1/4 tsp  salt
2 cup  powdered sugar
0 1/2 cup  unsweetened cocoa powder
1 oz  semi sweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Using electric beaters, whip egg whites until foamy.
  3. Beat in cream of tartar and salt to form soft peaks.
  4. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff shiny peaks are made.
  5. Gently whip in cocoa and chopped chocolate.
  6. Spoon rounded tablespoons of mixture onto parchment covered baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cookies are golden. Let cool.
