1 each  Lettuce, iceberg, fresh, head, small
1 1/2 tsp  low sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp  toasted sesame oil
1 tsp  Japanese rice wine
0 3/4 tsp  sugar
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  white pepper
1 tbsp  sesame oil
3 each  medium garlic cloves
  1. Wash and dry lettuce. Take out core. Cut leaves into 3 x 5 inch pieces.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour cooking oil in a wok and heat over high heat. Sauté garlic 30 seconds. Mix in lettuce and sauté until slightly limp, about 2 minutes. Mix in soy sauce mixture and sauté 1 minute. Spoon onto a serving platter.
