0 1/2 cup  cooking sherry
0 1/4 cup  low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp  brown sugar
1 tbsp  rice vinegar
1 tsp  garlic powder
0 1/2 tsp  black pepper
0.125 tsp  ground ginger
16 oz  salmon fillet
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Mix together the sherry, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, pepper, and ginger in a shallow dish.
  2. Place the fish in the dish and refrigerate, covered, for 30 minutes.
  3. Light the grill and spray with the cooking spray.
  4. Take the fish out of the marinade, and reserve the juices left in the dish.
  5. Grill the fish for about 5 to 7 minutes then turn over and grill for another 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. Put the marinade in a saucepan and boil for about 5 minutes.
  7. Slice the fish into 4 pieces and pour the heated marinade on top.
