29 oz  cooked sliced beets
0 1/2 cup  distilled white vinegar
2 tbsp  sugar
4 each  SPLENDA┬« No Calorie Sweetener packets
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  ground cloves
Directions
  1. Drain the beets, but save the liquid in a saucepan.
  2. Discard 1/2 cup of the liquid.
  3. Combine the beets, vinegar, sugar, Splenda, salt, and cloves in the saucepan. Bring just to a boil then turn the heat off.
  4. Transfer the beets into a sterilized glass jar and pour the liquid into the jar.
  5. Let sit for 5 minutes. Refrigerate, covered, for up to 1 month.
