6 oz  French bread baguette
0 1/2 cup  fresh basil
0 1/4 cup  part skim ricotta cheese
1 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/2 tsp  black pepper
  1. Line baking sheet with foil and preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place the bread halves on the cooking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
  3. In a blender mix basil, ricotta cheese, garlic, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  4. Spread the mixture over each of the bread half and bake for 15 minutes.
