  1. Put the milk, water, chocolate syrup, coffee, and vanilla extract into a blender and pulse until well blended.
  2. Transfer half of the mixture into a bowl and set aside.
  3. Put half of the ice cream into the blender with the remaining half of the chocolate mixture and pulse until it becomes a smooth consistency. Transfer this entire mixture into a pitcher.
  4. Pour the reserved chocolate mixture back into the blender and add the remaining ice cream. Blend until it becomes a smooth consistency and then add to the pitcher.
