1 3/4 cup  low sodium chicken broth
0 1/4 cup  apple cider
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped celery
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
6 oz  package wild rice blend
0 3/4 cup  chopped apples
0.3333 cup  chopped pecans
3 tbsp  chopped parsley
  1. Mix together the broth, apple cider, celery, onion, and 1 tablespoon of the seasoning from the rice package in a saucepan.
  2. Bring just to a boil then mix in the rice. Decrease the heat and simmer, covered, for about 5 minutes.
  3. Turn the heat off and add the apple, pecans, and parsley. Mix well.
