1 each  butter flavored cooking spray
8 oz  fresh asparagus
1 1/2 tbsp  bread crumbs
1 tsp  fresh lemon peel
0 1/2 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
1 pinch  black pepper
1 each  medium garlic cloves
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a nonstick baking pan with the cooking spray.
  2. Set the asparagus on the pan and spray with the cooking spray on all sides. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Mix together the bread crumbs, lemon zest, lemon juice, pepper, and garlic and place on a baking sheet. Toast for about 1 to 2 minutes in a toaster oven.
  4. Divide the asparagus onto two plates and top with the toasted bread crumb mixture.
