1 tbsp  whipped butter
1 tbsp  Starch, arrowroot
0 1/4 cup  Cheese, colby, low fat, shredded
1 cup  Milk, evaporated, nonfat/skim
0.125 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  white pepper
  1. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet. Add the arrowroot.
  2. Slowly mix in the milk and add the cheese.
  3. Cook just until the sauce has thickened and the cheese has melted. Stir constantly.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
