1 tbsp  olive oil
1 each  cooking spray
1 each  medium onions
2 each  medium garlic cloves
1 each  small carrots, fresh, 5 1/2" long
1 lb  kohlrabi
3 each  medium zucchini
1 tbsp  paprika
1 pinch  salt and pepper
15 each  Fish, sardines, with o skin & bone, w/water
1 cup  cold water
  1. In a medium-small pot, prepare the onions and garlic the Enlitened way (see below). Add the vegetables and seasonings, and stir.
  2. Place the fish on top of the vegetables. Add just enough water to barely cover the contents. Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
  3. Cook covered for 45-60 minutes. Try not to mix, since this will cause the fish to break.
  4. Before the Sabbath, place on a hotplate. If you prefer to keep it for Shabbos lunch, it is best to put a low, inverted aluminum pan underneath it to avoid burning.
