0 1/4 cup  white all purpose flour
6 cup  fat free milk
0 1/2 cup  unsalted butter
1 quart  Oysters, eastern, wild, raw
1 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
0 1/2 tsp  paprika
1 tbsp  chopped parsley
1 cup  Crackers, oyster
Directions
  1. Whisk the flour into 1 cup milk until smooth; set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a 3-quart double boiler or a heavy saucepan.
  3. Add the oysters with their own liquid and bring just to the boiling point, but do not boil.
  4. Slowly whisk in the milk and the flour mixture, the remaining 5 cups milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Heat until the edges of the oysters curl. Stir in the parsley.
  6. Serve immediately with oyster crackers.
