1 lb  Asparagus, fresh
1 tbsp  olive oil
3 each  medium garlic cloves
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  hot red pepper flakes
  1. Boil a pot of water. Cook asparagus in water 3 to 5 minutes or until just fork tender. Strain.
  2. Pour oil in a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Cook garlic until tender, but not browned.
  3. Saute asparagus 3 minutes, season with salt and red pepper.
