Ingredients Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cook rice in 2 cups of water. Meanwhile, thaw frozen broccoli.
  3. Melt margarine or butter in large saucepan.
  4. Add flour to melted margarine and stir. This will be lumpy.
  5. Slowly add chicken broth to margarine/flour mixture. Stir to remove lumps. Cook until mixture begins to thicken. Add cheese, if desired, and stir until completely melted. Add rice, broccoli, and chicken. Stir.
  6. Pour into a casserole pan and bake for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
