0 1/4 cup  cooking sherry
0.125 tsp  saffron
1 each  cooking spray
0 3/4 cup  chopped red bell peppers
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 oz  reduced fat low sodium ham
2 each  medium garlic cloves
0.3333 cup  canned, crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp  sliced almonds
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
12 each  Clams, mixed species, raw, small
12 each  Mussels, blue, raw, small
12 each  raw medium shrimp
1 tbsp  chopped parsley
  1. Mix together sherry and saffron and reserve.
  2. Heat a cooking spray coated frying pan over medium heat. Sauté pepper, onion, ham, and garlic 4 minutes. Stir in sherry mixture, tomatoes, almonds, salt, and pepper and let boil. Put in clams, place lid on top, lower heat, and simmer 3 minutes. Put in mussels, put lid back on, and simmer 3 minutes. Put in shrimp, put lid back on, and simmer 5 minutes. Remove and dispose of any unopened shells. Top mixture with parsley.
