2 each  package baker's yeast
0 1/4 cup  fat free milk
1 cup  mashed sweet potatoes
1 3/4 cup  fat free milk
0 1/4 cup  vegetable oil
1 each  eggs
4 cup  white all purpose flour
2 cup  whole wheat flour
1 tsp  salt
  1. Combine yeast and warmed milk and let sit 5 minutes. Mix in sweet potatoes, 1 3/4 cups skim milk, oil, and egg. Mix in 3 cups all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, and salt. Add in enough of the rest of the flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead dough until elastic, about 5 minutes. Lay dough in a greased bowl and let rise, covered in a warm place for 1 hour, dough should be doubled in size. Punch down dough.
  3. Separate dough into 2 even portions and separate each half into thirds. Roll pieces of dough into strips about 12 inches long. Braid 3 strips together and fold ends under.
  4. Arrange on a greased cookie sheet. Continue braiding until all dough is used. Let rise, covered 30 to 45 minutes or until dough has doubled.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
