1 lb  fresh green beans
2 1/2 cup  cold water
2 tsp  sugar
2 tbsp  apple cider vinegar (unfiltered)
1 each  small onions
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  black pepper
Directions
  1. In large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to boil over medium-high.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour.
