8 oz  Brussels Sprouts, fresh
8 oz  Onion, pearl
1 tbsp  margarine
3 tbsp  sugar
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
  1. Heat two pots of boiling water.
  2. Cook Brussels sprouts and onions in two separate pots with lids on for 8 to 10 minutes. Strain well.
  3. Melt margarine in frying pan; mix in the sugar and cook over medium heat until bubbly. Toss vegetables into sugar mixture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
