Ingredients Directions
  1. Slice off 1 inch from tops of artichokes along with stems. Put artichokes into a pot and season with salt. Pour in 1 inch water and bring to a boil.
  2. Lower heat, place lid on pot, and simmer 30 minutes or until artichokes are soft.
  3. Take artichokes out of pot, throwing away water. Hold artichokes with a towel, coat bottoms of artichokes with olive oil and place back into the pot.
  4. Cook over medium to medium-low heat 10 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.
