6 each  fresh plum tomatoes
3 each  medium garlic cloves
2 each  whole jalapeno pepper
0.3333 cup  fresh cilantro
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
1 tsp  fresh lime juice
0 1/4 tsp  salt
Directions
  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Lay tomatoes, garlic, and peppers on a foil covered baking sheet. Cook 16 minutes, flipping after 8 minutes.
  3. Let vegetables cool; peel skin off. Using a mortar and pestle, mash garlic and peppers to make a paste. Mash in tomatoes. Mix pepper mixture with cilantro, onion, lime juice, and salt in a bowl.
