1 cup  white wine vinegar
0 1/2 cup  cold water
2 tbsp  sugar
1 tbsp  kosher salt
0 1/2 tsp  mustard seed
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
0 1/2 cup  Wine, sake/saki, Japanese
3 cup  fresh cauliflower
1 each  medium yellow bell peppers
0 3/4 cup  sliced carrots
3 cup  fresh broccoli florets
8 each  fresh green onions
2 each  medium garlic cloves
  1. Add vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, and pepper to a pot; heat over medium-high heat and let boil for 3 minutes. Take off of heat and cool 2 minutes and mix in sake.
  2. Add cauliflower, bell pepper, carrot, broccoli, onions, and garlic to a resealable plastic bag. Pour in sake mixture, seal, and chill 8 hours, flipping bag a few times. Take vegetables out of bag and throw away marinade.
