0 1/4 cup  packed dark brown sugar
2 tbsp  white wine
2 tbsp  low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp  unsalted butter
1 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
1 each  salmon fillet
  1. Mix together brown sugar, wine, soy sauce, butter, and lemon juice in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 2 minutes or until boiling. Stir and let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Wash and dry salmon and place, flesh side down in brown sugar mixture. Wrap with plastic wrap and let marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 1 day.
  3. Preheat grill.
  4. Take salmon out of marinade and let drain, save marinade. Place fish, flesh side up on a piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Cut foil to form the outline of the fish.
  5. Move fish on foil to a grill rack. Lower lid on grill and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until fish is flaky. Move fish to a serving platter.
  6. Place marinade back in microwave oven and heat 1 to 2 minutes, stir and serve with fish.
