12 each  large garlic cloves
0.3333 cup  cold water
1 tbsp  honey
0 1/4 tsp  olive oil
0 1/4 tsp  ground cayenne (red pepper)
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
9 each  Bread, French, toasted, small slice
  1. In a small saucepan, sauté garlic for 2 minutes. Drain, and return garlic to pan.
  2. In same saucepan, add 1/3 cup water, honey, and oil. Simmer mixture over medium-low heat until the garlic is tender, about 12 minutes.
  3. Add the cayenne, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook until the garlic turns deep golden, about 2-3 minutes more. Remove from heat and pour into food processor or blender
  4. Pulse the garlic mixture until it is of a spreadable consistency. Serve with the toasted bread.
