40 each  asparagus spears, fresh, small
1 each  cooking spray
0 1/4 tsp  kosher salt
0.125 tsp  black pepper
2 tbsp  unsalted butter
2 tsp  low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp  balsamic vinegar
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Lay asparagus in one layer on a baking sheet. Spray asparagus with cooking spray. Season asparagus with salt and pepper. Bake 12 minutes or until soft.
  3. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook 3 minutes or until butter begins to turn golden. Take pan off of heat and mix in soy sauce and vinegar. Spoon sauce over asparagus.
