1 each  cooking spray
0 3/4 cup  fresh broccoli florets
0 3/4 cup  fresh mushrooms
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 each  medium garlic cloves
1 1/2 tsp  dried basil
0 1/2 tsp  marjoram, leaves, ground
0 1/4 tsp  ground thyme
0.6667 cup  Rice, wild, cooked
0.3333 cup  quick cooking rolled oats
0.3333 cup  chopped walnuts
0 1/2 cup  Cottage Cheese, 1% fat
0 1/2 cup  Cheese, cheddar, fat free, shredded
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
2 each  egg whites
0.3333 cup  fat free mayonnaise
4 each  whole wheat hamburger buns
0 1/2 cup  romaine lettuce leaf
Directions
  1. Heat a cooking spray coated frying pan over medium heat. Cook broccoli, mushrooms, onion, and garlic 8 to 10 minutes, or until soft.
  2. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon basil, marjoram, and thyme. Sauté 1 to 2 minutes. Take pan off of heat and let cool.
  3. Combine rice, oats, walnuts, cottage cheese, and Cheddar cheese with vegetable mixture.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and add in egg whites. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
  5. Heat a cooking spray coated frying pan over medium heat. Cook burgers 3 to 4 minutes over medium to medium low heat or until bottoms are browned.
  6. Coat tops of burgers with cooking spray and flip over. Cook another 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Combine mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon basil. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce and basil mayonnaise.
