4 cup  cold water
2 cup  quick cooking rolled oats
20 each  Plums, dried, pitted, with orange essence
2 tbsp  Margarine, 80% fat
1 1/2 tsp  ground cinnamon
2 tbsp  packed dark brown sugar
1 tsp  vanilla extract
0.125 tsp  salt
Directions
  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and mix in the plums. Decrease the heat and let simmer for 1 minute. Stir often.
  2. Remove from heat and mix in the remaining ingredients. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes.
