1 cup  pitted dried prunes
0 1/4 cup  vermouth
2 tbsp  grated orange peel
1 tsp  sugar
  1. Combine prunes, 1/2 cup water, vermouth, orange zest, and sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring liquid to a boil and reduce heat to low.
  3. Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool mixture slightly before covering and refrigerating.
  5. Remove orange zest and then serve!
