0 1/2 lb  extra lean ground beef (5% fat)
0 1/4 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
1 each  medium garlic cloves
1 cup  no-salt tomato sauce
0 1/2 tsp  chili powder
0 1/2 tsp  salt
  1. In a medium skillet over medium high heat, sauté the ground beef for 10 to 15 minutes, or until well browned. Break up with a fork until fine.
  2. Add the water, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, chili powder and salt.
  3. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.
