1 lb  Fresh green beans
1 tbsp  olive oil
1 tsp  italian seasoning
1 each  red onion
3 tbsp  balsamic vinegar
  1. NOTE: This recipe requires 1 hour in refrigerator.
  2. Wash beans and trim ends.
  3. Add 1" water to medium saucepan fitted with steamer basket. Place green beans in basket and bring water to boil over high heat. Cook 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and rinse beans under cold water.
  5. In large bowl, add onions and salad dressing. Toss.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap, and chill for 1 hour.
