1 cup  white all purpose flour
0.6667 cup  Cereal, All-Bran Buds
0 1/2 cup  old fashioned rolled oats
0.3333 cup  brown sugar
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/2 tsp  baking soda
1 tsp  low sodium baking powder
1 tsp  ground cinnamon
0 1/4 tsp  ground cloves
0 1/2 cup  Margarine, hard
2 each  egg whites
1 tsp  vanilla extract
0 1/2 cup  sweetener (sugar substitute)
0.3333 cup  chopped walnuts
1 cup  unsweetened applesauce
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix together all the dry ingredients at low speed for 1 minute.
  3. Add margarine, egg whites, vanilla, sugar substitute, nuts, and applesauce to the flour mixture.
  4. Mix at medium speed for 30 seconds.
  5. Spread mixture in a 9 X 13 greased cake pan and bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
  6. Cut into 15 squares and serve warm.
