8 cup  cold water
12 each  tea bags
0 1/4 cup  fresh mint
0 3/4 cup  sugar
0 1/4 cup  fresh lemon juice
1 each  fresh lemons
0 1/4 cup  fresh mint
  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium pot. Place teabags and mint in water and let stand for 10 minutes. Throw away tea bags and mint when finished.
  2. Mix together sugar and lemon juice in a glass-measuring cup. Pour in 1/2 cup hot tea mixture and blend until sugar dissolves. Pour the mixture into a pitcher and add the rest of the hot tea. Stir in 4 cups cold water. Top each glass with lemon slices and mint leaves (sprigs).
