Ingredients

1 tbsp  olive oil
1 tsp  crushed garlic
1 each  medium carrots
1 each  medium celery stalks
1 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 cup  low sodium chicken broth
5 cup  chopped tomato
3 tbsp  unsalted tomato paste
2 tsp  sugar
3 tbsp  fresh dill weed
Directions
  1. In large saucepan, heat oil over medium. Add garlic, carrots, celery, and onion. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Stir well. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stir occasionally.
  3. In food processor or blender, purée soup in batches, until smooth.
  4. Return soup to saucepan, add sugar and dill. Mix well and serve.
