1 1/2 cup  fresh mushroom slices
1 tbsp  unsalted butter
1 tbsp  white all purpose flour
0 1/2 cup  beef broth
0 1/2 cup  whole milk
0.125 tsp  black pepper
  1. Coat nonstick pan with cooking spray. Place pan on stovetop over high heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms are browned, 5-6 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Set aside.
  3. Return pan to stove. Melt butter. Add flour and mix until smooth.
  4. Add beef broth and milk, stirring constantly. Cook on low heat until thick, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Add pepper and return mushrooms to sauce. Heat. Serve.
